Let me know if you’ve had different experiences with these courses, or if you have other favorites that should be included in the list.
There are several professional training options available online, such as course materials created by Amazon Web Services. These materials allow you to learn more about AWS while working on hands-on exercises to build practical skills. In addition, Microsoft offers its own list of top training resources for students who want to become certified professionals on Azure. Finally, there are many MOOC platforms that offer courses on cloud computing, including both free and paid courses from industry leaders like Coursera and edX. No matter which option you choose, your time is well spent, cloud computing will only continue to grow in importance over time.
The Microsoft Azure course is a general introduction to using Microsoft’s platform. It’s great for beginners who want to learn more about Azure, as well as people who are new to cloud technology. The first half of the course details creating an Azure subscription and deploying resources on a virtual machine (VM).
The latter half delves into how to use other services, such as SQL Database and Store Simple Virtual Storage Appliance (VSA). In total, it’s one of our favorite courses out there. Plus, you can take it free with your MSDN account which you can get if you have Visual Studio or Office 365 developer subscriptions.

All courses are taught by Google experts.
You can also search for courses from other providers on websites like Class Central. The courses listed below are available through Udacity’s website. In order to enroll, you must be 18 years or older and agree to Google’s terms of service. You will need a valid email address as well as access to either a smartphone or computer that has an Internet connection at all times during your coursework.
The OpenStack training courses are an excellent place to start if you want to learn about OpenStack and its various components. The course is vendor neutral, so developers will get a clear idea of how to deploy infrastructure as a service (IaaS) on top of bare metal or any other hypervisor. It also covers networking as a service (NaaS), software defined networking (SDN), storage as a service (STaaS), big data as a service, and much more. All in all, it’s a great introduction to everything that’s possible with OpenStack. It’s a free course from edX, so there’s no reason not to take advantage of it!
